I literally cannot work from home

I can't do it. Lol.

Back when I was a new mom in 2021, I went back on Concerta for my ADD because juggling multiple tasks at once for multiple people with an attention deficit disorder was... um, hard. 😅

I've since managed the distraction aspect, but my overstimulation issues are far from well. And this summer, my organization skills were bad.. really, really bad. I realized half the problem was that I didn't have a set routine or plan for when, where, and how I'd work my bridal business. And when this month started, I made a plan to devote every Wednesday to my work, trials and administrative work.

The problem is, I'm an overstimulated mom to a 3.5 year old who seems to only be super needy when I need her to NOT be. Cue the grandparents saving the day; my parents have been taking her so I can not only get a break (thank you, Mom & Dad!) But so I can devote time to myself and my business.

The point is, even with every other variable perfectly lined up, I still can't work from home! I'm distracted, I'm tempted to do housework, etc. And once I'm off task, consider me good as gone!

I've been making a game out of it, going to a new spot each week to work! Last week, I went to An Unlikely Story in Plainville, MA. & this week, I went to Briggs Nursery in North Attleboro, MA. Both have super adorable cafes with a great coffee/tea menu, smoothies, breakfast, lunch (sandwiches, wraps, salads), and little sweets, chips, etc. The Sunrise BLT I got for breakfast thus morning was delicious! I popped my ear buds in, cranked some Fletcher to amp myself up for her show next Thursday, and dove right into today's task list!

Your makeup artist ALMOST has her shit together 😅
